Open for Fly Fishing Season – Closed for Winter
The Maruia River Lodge is typically open for the duration of the Fly-fishing Season 1st October to 30th April. The exception to this is the 2011-2012 Season. We are very excited to be opening in August 2011 after a lengthy closure while we have been attending to Repairs, Renovations & Refurbishment.

No Smoking
We are a no smoking property. Smoking is not permitted within 5 metres of any of the Lodge buildings or Guest accommodation.


What is Included (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

An additional tariff of $100.00 per night applies over the Christmas and New Year period.

All tariffs are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of 15% Goods and Services Tax.

Tariffs are subject to confirmation at time of booking.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Reservations are confirmed with a credit card number and 25% deposit of total stay.

We are a small exclusive Lodge and cancellations affect us greatly.

• Cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival, a 25% cancellation fee will apply.
• Cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
• Cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Should we manage to rebook the accommodation this fee will be refunded. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against any unexpected changes to their travel plans.

Check In & Check Out
Check-In between 1400 & 1800 is appreciated. Early Check-In may be available on request.

Check-Out by 1030. Late Check-Out may be available on request.

Settlement
Visas, MasterCard & American Express are accepted at the Lodge. There is an additional charge of 4% for Visas & MasterCard and 5% for American Express to cover the Bank Fees.

Children
Our guests look for relaxation at the Lodge and we therefore regret that we cannot accommodate children under the age of 18 years. An exception to this condition is made when one group books the exclusive use of the Lodge.

Dining
If you have any special dietary requirements, food allergies, or major dislikes, please let us know when you make your booking; as we are 34 km from the nearest township, we would like to be prepared and provide you with the best meals possible.

Casual dining for Lunch is available on request at extra charge. Picnic hampers can be arranged at time of booking or with 24 hours notice.
